With more than eight years of experience in special education and transition services, Jasmine is dedicated to helping students with disabilities successfully prepare for life after high school. She holds a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in School Counseling from New Mexico Highlands University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of New Mexico. She holds a New Mexico Level 3 PreK-12 Rehabilitation Counseling license, a Level 3 PreK-12 School Counseling license, and a Level 3B PreK-12 Educational Administration license.
Throughout her career, Jasmine has specialized in transition planning, IEP development, post-secondary readiness, and collaboration with students, families, educators, and community partners. She has provided leadership through educator training, professional development, and mentorship, helping schools strengthen transition practices and ensure compliance with state and federal special education law and guidelines. Her passion is empowering students to develop the skills, confidence, and connections they need to achieve meaningful educational, employment, and independent living outcomes.
