Jené is a passionate advocate for equitable public education and removing hurdles to accessing the resources our schools and families need. She began in the charter world in 2021 at a first year school. During her tenure in education, she has worked as an Educational Assistant, Art Teacher, and Operations Manager. Her expertise lies in making systems operational systems work for schools so they can focus on what matters most, the kids.

Jené has an Associate of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Chicana/o Studies. Beyond education, Jené has worked with several nonprofits in operations and development.
